Licensed Medical Aesthetician

Ivana Sorrell began working with Dr. Ruthie Harper in 2007. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Vibradermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Fillers, Botox®, chemical peels, and laser skin rejuvenation and correction. In 1993, Ivana made a major career change and followed her passion to become a Licensed Medical Aesthetician. She acquired most of her early skin care training in the Czech Republic. Throughout her clinical experience, she has gained extensive training and has earned multiple certifications in Clinical Skin Care and Advanced Medical Aesthetics.

Previously Ivana has worked with plastic surgeons performing both pre- and post-surgical procedures to enhance cosmetic surgery results. However, she strongly believes that preventative and non-invasive procedures can extend a person’s youthful appearance as an alternative to surgery.

Ivana has worked as a Laser Specialist with Eclipse Mecical, Inc. and has trained physicians on various types of lasers. She regularly attends educational seminars and conferences because she believes ongoing education is important in the rapidly changing and progressing world of skin care. Ivana takes personal pride in helping patients and educating them on the best procedures for their particular needs. She is a member of the American Aesthetics Education Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
